Katherine + Justin | Engaged!

Self confessed science geeks- Katherine and Justin had lots of fun ideas for the Autumn shoot in the mountains. I love Autumn shoots. The colours are just so vibrant wherever we go and thanks to Breenhold Gardens, it was an amazing experience once again to shoot there. Thank God the rain held off and we were able to still go ahead with the shoot, (with all the amazing personalise props that Katherine sourced). The light sprinkling and misty fog just added to the mood and atmosphere.

Thanks J&K for your generosity to not only prepare a lovely dinner that night, but also for your hospitality in giving us a warm roof over our heads and brekkie so we didn’t have to drive home that night back to Sydney in the rain! It is truly special to have such wonderful clients whom we can also now call friends. We can’t wait for your wedding in Spring!:)

As they both met through their love for science, it was only appropriate that the science theme be brought out in the E-shoot ♥

The Party Studio + Sophisticated Yum | Spring Summer 2011

The 25deg day last week was awesome… bring on Spring!  I thought it was timely to post up these gorgeous photos of the latest Spring Summer range from The Party Studio and Sophisticated Yum.

We spoke to Pauline, who is the owner of both The Party Studio and Sophisticated Yum about what she’s been up to.

“It’s really been exciting to tap into my creative side with my two businesses, The Party Studio and Sophisticated Yum. The Party Studio is an online boutique that has a range of gorgeous products that will help you put together something special for your next event whether it’s a wedding or just a small dinner party with friends. Sophisticated Yum designs dessert tables and candy bars, something that is a fairly new trend in Australia and becoming more popular especially in the wedding industry. Designs largely focus on the couple of the moment, incorporating their personality into everything from the props right down through to the desserts. The tables are visually captivating but also very yum!”

For all you brides to be, check out some of these amazing creations as inspirations for your kitchen tea, reception table settings or bomboniere!!

Here are some sweet bombonierre ideas by Sweet ‘n’ Pretty.

David Choi | Live in Concert!

As you know, we have partnered with Monsoon Productions to photograph a number of concerts, events and artists such as SHINE, Amelia Jae, Tanya Riches and now David Choi of You Tube fame! David has been travelling around  South East Asia & Australia on tour with Sydney being one of the last stops. He was supported by the delightful Jayesslee (also of You Tube fame) and the effervescent Amelia Jae!

The concert absolutely went off! Jayesslee with their gorgeous and soulful harmonies, Amelia rocking our socks off and David charmed us to no end:D

Congrats to the team at Monsoon Productions for putting on such a great show. Here’s just a snippet of the awesomeness on the night.

Kate + Sam | Married!

A gorgeous summer’s day greeted us for Kate + Sam’s wedding. You may remember seeing Kate & Sam’s E-shoot photos we posted up earlier this year. They were such naturals in front of the camera and we knew their wedding day was going to be just awesome. Kate + Sam had their ceremony at All Saints Anglican Church, Hunters Hill and their reception at Star Room, Darling Harbour.

Absolutely love the dresses the Kate chose for her bridesmaids…and the hot shoes too!:)

I remember telling Kate how elegant she looked that day as we took that photo on the left. We also spotted this gorgeous little message that came with a bunch of flowers that Sam wrote to Kate.

The Orders of Service had a real personal touch with photos of weddings from the past generations.

Guess what song he sung for them? A song from one of my favourite movies – “Grow old with you” from The Wedding Singer. Click here to listen to the song if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

Love all these expressions captured during the speeches.

Grandma was so cute- so full of life and energy!:)

They even had fireworks! (Put on by Darling Harbour fireworks people!)

They had such an awesome band and great dancing, we wanted to stay for longer!
