Joyce + Terry | Married!

A beautiful Autumn day by the harbour in the perfectly manicured surrounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens was the backdrop for Joyce and Terry’s wedding. Even though the forecast was for showers and a possible storm, the rains stayed away for the ceremony and we were blessed instead with cloud cover that gave us fabulous diffused light!

The day started with Joyce getting ready at the historic Stamford Hotel. We love it when brides get ready in hotels, the rooms are always spacious and the windows let in such beautiful light! Joyce looked absolutely radiant being pampered and waited on by her seven bridesmaids!

Don’t her flowers look stunning?

The rose garden was just a picture with the harpist and flowergirls playing with bubbles while waiting for the ceremony to start.

With 8 dashing guys…

and 8 gorgeous ladies….. it was the biggest bridal party we’ve ever photographed!

After the ceremony off for a stroll through the gardens

We had some gorgeous light that afternoon!

After playing and enjoying the gorgeous sun the heavens finally opened up!!

I love this next shot as all the girls scurried off to find cover using their bouquets as umbrellas!!

With the rain falling, we ended the day with one last gorgeous shot by these fantastic willows. Joyce + Terry, thank you both for such a fabulous day. God bless you both as you begin your new lives together!  :)

Beautiful set of photos!

Hi Tracy and Paul! Thanks so much again for all your efforts on our wedding day ~ can’t wait to see the rest of the photos, they’re looking fantastic so far :) !

Paul

Thanks Phillip! I’m sure Scottish weddings are unique in their own right in ways we wouldn’t exprience here!

Paul

Thanks for your really lovely feedback David! Nice to know we helped you to a great start on a Sunday morning! :)

Very pretty wedding photos!

Love the images..really beautiful!

Lovely wedding photographs. The bridesmaids and groomsmen shots were great. Weddings in Scotland dont have as many bridesmaids and groomsmen as that so I enjoyed seeing your set ups.

Wow, what a way to start a Sunday morning. I came across your blog this morning and its amazing. I love your style, use of lines and the light and airy style of your photos.
